Seeking Simon

Dottie had no hope for a happily ever after.  Her brother took off. Her father was sick.  Her childhood friend was gone- killed in the war.  But everything changed when Simon showed up at her door.

GOD knows what he is doing. He knew Dottie's dream. He had a plan.

Simon wasn't looking for marriage or even a future in Georgia.  But then he met Dottie. His life changed at that moment.

There were some disturbing parts. It was based in the Civil War times. Much was lost. Men treating others cruelly because they have a different opinion. Sound familiar?

I finished this book quite quickly.  I was "Seeking" a happy ending for Simon and Dottie.

Thank you Susan Sloan for giving me the opportunity to read this wonderful book.
