Ada fears she is losing Wilma's friendship. She wants life to go on as normal. But it can't. Wilma lost her husband and must find away to survive her loneliness and grief. She is starting over. A new normal.
Grief support groups are so important. It assists members of the family with compassion and understanding. In Wilma's community, I assume that the Amish do not reach out to counseling agencies for this service. Wilma opened her home to other widows. Without her knowing, this is a positive step in dealing with her grief.
I love reading about this family. They are supportive of each other. They are there for each other in bad and in good times.
Can Wilma find any comfort through her grief? Can Ada accept the changes she sees in Wilma?
I received this book from the author to review.
